Incident affecting App Hosting
Rollouts are failing intermittently in us-central even when the build was successful
Incident began at 2025-05-12 00:00 and ended at 2025-05-13 11:45 (all times are US/Pacific).
Date | Time | Description | |
---|---|---|---|
| 13 May 2025 | 22:32 PDT | We've mitigated the errors seen while polling the Cloud Run UpdateService and CreateService operations. This was caused by an ongoing increase in latency from Cloud Run in us-central1. Users may continue to see increased latency in Builds and Rollouts. |
| 13 May 2025 | 20:46 PDT | Mitigation efforts are ongoing. For most users, a retry of the build will complete successfully. |
| 13 May 2025 | 17:36 PDT | We are currently investigating intermittent issues affecting Firebase App Hosting rollouts, primarily affecting backends created in the us-central1 region. Some users may experience rollouts being marked as failed after a timeout period, even if the cloud build process itself was successful. Our engineering teams are actively working to identify the root cause and implement a solution. In the meantime, if you encounter this issue, we recommend trying to create a new rollout. We will provide further updates as our investigation progresses. |
